About
Anne moved to Arlington in 2007 for a position at the Pentagon and spent over a decade working at various DoD locations around the National Capital Region including Mark Center, Crystal City, and Fort Belvoir. She and her husband, a former marine, purchased their first home, a fixer-upper in Alexandria's Stoneybrooke neighborhood in 2012. Raised with a love of real estate investing and do-it-yourself home improvement from her parents, becoming a realtor has been a dream of Anne's since college and she finally decided to work towards her real estate license in 2016. Becoming a certified Military Relocation Professional was a natural decision as most of her friends and clients are in the military or veterans. She specializes in doing virtual tours for clients moving to the DC Metro area from across the country or other parts of the world, and frequently first meets her clients in person the day they get their keys! In December 2018 she was featured on an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters. In her free time, she enjoys impromptu patio parties with her neighbors and renovating her home. Anne Carter is a Northern California native and graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Economics (Go Aggies!). She is a former politico and worked for the Schwarzenegger and Bush 43 administrations.
