Before real estate, I enjoyed my life-long dream career of being a professional baseball player.  I played for 9 seasons professionally with the Texas Rangers from 1996-2001, the Chicago White-Sox from 2002-2003, and with the Colorado Rockies in my final season in 2004.  As a former professional athlete I have instilled an unparalled work ethic and focus that has transferred into my real estate career.  I have always strived to be the best at whatever it is I do which equates to serving the needs of my clients with total dedication and commitment to every detail of the transaction.

During those 9 seasons, Shauna (my wife) and I traveled to many cities meeting many people and forming some life-long friendships with many of the teammates I played with.  Meeting so many different people and interacting with so many different personalities made the transition into dealing with my real estate clients a pretty natural one. The experience and opportunity to play professionally was like no other.  The feeling of putting on that uniform everyday and playing a game you love so much in front of a stadium full of cheering fans is a feeling that stays with you forever.  Those good feelings though are not the only feelings you have as a player.  There are many mental ups and downs that you experience from year to year as a baseball player that help you develop some serious mental toughness.  These ups and downs teach you to focus on research, having a plan, focusing on the task at hand, having fun, and making adjustments when needed.
