Bill Owens for nearly five years, serving first as policy analyst in the Governor's Office and later as Deputy Director for Business Development in the Office of Innovation and Technology. Berry was responsible for creating new technology partnerships between the State of Colorado and high-tech corporations located within and outside of Colorado. He assisted with the relocation and expansion of many corporations and regularly worked with key elected officials, from local dignitaries to international leaders. Additionally, Berry served on numerous committees and boards on behalf of the Governor.
In 2013, Berry became an investor in a new concept restaurant in Denver, called Work & Class. The restaurant has been named one of Denver’s top new restaurants and has achieved national acclaim, with a James Beard Award-nominated chef.
Berry holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The University of Colorado. A Colorado resident for 28 years, Berry now lives with his wife, Dana and their two sons Connor and Lawson, in Windermere, Florida. Berry is active with his sons, who are involved with soccer, flag football and Boy Scouts of America, and enjoys golf and fishing.
