About Travis Close Homes

Dedicated, responsive and knowledgeable are words used by his clients to describe Travis.  He is a Chattanooga native that returned to his hometown in 2001 to pursue a career in advertising sales, where he excelled using his bachelors degree in Mass Communication.  Making a career move into real estate, Travis excelled again despite entering the profession only a couple of years before the worst real estate market in decades.  By sheer grit and a sharp client focus Travis clawed thru the real estate bubble for the success of his clients and his family.  He emerged with his first builder partnership to sell a new subdivision on Signal Mountain and launched Travis Close Team with dedicated assistants and specialists to better serve his loyal and new clients' specific real estate needs.

From his Rising Star award in 2007 to the Greater Chattanooga Association of REALTOR's Realtor of the Year award in 2015, Travis pursues this profession with full-time, full-focus dedication.  Travis has been spotted, lifted up and chosen by his peers across the country for local, State and National REALTOR leadership roles, which he continues to serve in today.  Travis proudly supports the REALTORS Political Action Committee as a major investor to help protect homeownership rights and the integrity of his profession.  In his spare time Travis is a Boy Scout leader, a volunteer and ambassador for the Appalachia Service Project, an active member of Signal Crest UMC and serves on several non-profit boards.  His primary focus is always God, country and family.  His favorite people are his children, Gavin and Ansley, and the love of his life, Tina.
