The room comes equipped with microwave, hot plate, refrigerator, toaster, and electric tea kettle. An outdoor dining/lounge area is located just outside the sliding glass doors, next to the rambling backyard. Tenant has limited use of main kitchen, common areas, and shared washer/dryer.

It is possible for the room to be semi-furnished (queen-sized bed, table and chairs, arm chair, linens, comforter, and lamp). Wifi is available throughout the home and garden.

Our home is nestled next to the San Gabriel Mountains in the Altadena foothills. Located almost 2000 feet about sea level, the air is crisp and clear next to the mountains, and there is always a carpet of stars decorating the splendid night sky.

Our home is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to hiking trails, 15 minutes to downtown Pasadena’s art and cultural scene, and 25 minutes to downtown Los Angeles, with easy access to grocery stores, shopping, and Interstate 210.

Public transit (bus to train) is available, with connections across Los Angeles County. We are close to Pasadena stops on the Foothill Gold Line Metrolink train, including:

Free, overnight, off-street parking is available in front of the house.


We are also conveniently located to many CA natural areas, including the San Gabriel National Forest, San Bernardino National Forest, Joshua Tree National Park, Mohave National Monument, Death Valley National Park, Anza Borrego State Park, and numerous national parks and wilderness areas in the Sierra Nevada mountains and coastal areas near Los Angeles and San Diego.
