About Amy Shafer

As a residential licensed Real Estate Associate Broker/Agent in Virginia and Licensed Agent in the District of Columbia, I work with my clients' best interest in mind. It is important to me to put my Clients' needs first while working professionally and responsively to earn their trust. I use state-of-the-art technology in servicing my clients’ needs. All of my clients and customers are treated with respect, honesty, and fairness while promoting as smooth a transaction as possible. My goal is to give on-going personal support in the selling and/or purchasing of a home for my clients. As a former stay-at-home mother with four children, I have gained important people and negotiating skills that benefit my clients. Having home-schooled my children for five years, I am well organized, able to solve problems, and dedicated to getting the task done. Having worked as the Executive Secretary for the Director of Public Relations at Unisys Corporation, I possess strong communication and organizational skills. Growing up in a Foreign Service Diplomatic family, I have an appreciation for, interest in, and keen understanding of people from other countries and cultures.
